Voxtale respects copyright. Users make audio only from text they paste, and we ask them to confirm they wrote it, that it is in the public domain, or that they have permission to use it. Finished audio is saved on the user’s device, and temporary copies are kept on our server for up to 30 days; we do not publish it.

Report an infringement

If you believe your work is being used without permission through Voxtale, send a notice to our designated agent:

Your notice should include:

• Your name, address, email and phone number, and a physical or electronic signature.
• A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• Details that let us identify the material or account involved.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Counter-notice

If you think we removed or blocked something by mistake, email the same address with your contact details, a description of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the courts of your district. We may restore material 10 to 14 business days after a valid counter-notice unless the complainant files a court action.

Repeat infringers

We will suspend accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
